Plain answers on engagements.
Are these prices fixed?
The plans are reference points for common engagement shapes. Every engagement letter is written for the specific situation — scope, calendar, and fee may differ when the work is non-standard.
What's included in the diagnostic?
A two- to four-week read of the business, founder + leadership interviews, a three-statement review, a written one-page diagnostic, and a single follow-up working session. Most clients move into Standing Advisory afterward; some don't, and that's the right outcome too.
Do you take retainer-only notary work?
Yes — notary and loan-signing engagements are quoted as flat-fee per appointment or as a small retainer for ongoing closings. See the Notary service page for the document types and coverage area.
What if the engagement scope changes?
Scope changes are written and agreed before work continues. Mission creep is treated as a separate decision, not a quiet expansion.
Do you sign an NDA?
Discretion is non-negotiable. NDAs are signed at the scoping-call stage when requested, and discretion is the default whether or not an NDA is in place.
